How to Ride the City Bus

Bus Stops

All bus stops display the route number, bus stop name, route destination (last stop), and time schedule.

Before getting on the bus, be sure to check its route and last stop, which can be found on the side or front of the bus.

Boarding the Bus

Please board the bus through the rear door.

Standard Fare Buses:

• Using an IC card: Tap your IC card on the card reader (①) near the rear door.
• Paying in cash or a prepaid card: Board the bus and pay upon disembarking.

Distance-Based Fare Buses:

• Using an IC card: Tap your IC card on the IC card reader (①) near the rear door.
• Paying in cash: Take a fare ticket (②) as you board the bus, and pay upon disembarking.
• Prepaid card: Insert your card into the prepaid card reader (③) as you board the bus. Please do not forget to take your card, and pay upon disembarking.

Requesting to Disembark

If you would like to get off at the next stop, press the stop button before the bus reaches the bus stop.
For your safety, please remain seated until the bus stops completely.

Disembarking the Bus

Pay via the fare box or machine located next to the driver, at the front of the bus.
After paying, please exit through the front door.

Payment Methods:

• Using an IC card: Tap your IC card on the IC card reader (①).
• Paying in cash: Place the fare amount into the fare box (②). If the bus uses distance-based fares, put your ticket in the fare box along with your payment.
  Please note that the fare box does not give change, so exchange your bills at the exchange machine (③) BEFORE paying. (The exchange machine only accepts \1000 yen bills.)
• Prepaid card: Insert your card into the prepaid card reader (④).

Standard Fare:

• Adult: 230円　Child: 120円

Distance-Based Fare:

• Fares are calculated based on distance traveled.
• You can check your respective fare on the display at the front of the bus.
